Brian Wilson

  

Brian Wilson has been an archivist at The Henry Ford’s Benson Ford Research Center since September 2010. He is responsible for processing and preservation of born-digital and hybrid collections, digitization of material from the Research Center’s holdings, and facilitating electronic access to archival materials and description. Prior to entering grad school in 2008, Brian enjoyed a 22 year career as a mechanical design engineer working primarily on engine component design for gasoline and diesel applications. Brian received his Master of Science in Information from the University of Michigan School of Information in May 2010, where he specialized in Archives and Records Management. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering.
